Franklin County Educators meet
FARMINGTON — The next meeting of the Franklin County Educators will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 17, in the North Dining Hall of UMF. Lunch will be salads, mini-sandwiches and dessert for $10.
The program will be entertainment by Bill Burlinghoff and his folk music. He will honor as many requests as time allows.
Retired educator guests are welcome, but lunch reservations must be made by June 13 through a current member of FCRE.
Wilton Historical Society meeting
WILTON — The Wilton Historical Society will hold its June meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at the Wilton Farm and Home Museum, 10 Canal St.
The program will follow at 7:30 p.m. featuring local Game Warden Chris McCabe as speaker. Officer McCabe is also featured in the Animal Planet channel’s program, “Maine Woods Law.”
Refreshments will follow. All are welcome.
North Turner Cemetery Assoc.
TURNER — North Turner Cemetery Association will meet at 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 14, at Bev Murphy’s home, 355 Berry Road, Hartford. Anyone interested is welcome.
New Vineyard Historical Society
NEW VINEYARD — The New Vineyard Historical Society will host Benjamin B. Conant as guest speaker at their meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, in Smith Hall.
Conant, now of South Paris and formerly of New Vineyard, is a well-known speaker on early local families. He will talk mainly about the Jordan family of New Vineyard and their relatives.
Refreshments will be served. Attendance is open to all, and Conant will bring several of his cousins.
Community breakfast June 20
RANGELEY — The next Ladies/Community Breakfast will be held from 7 to 9 a.m. Thursday, June 20, at the Moosely Bagels.
Make every effort to attend so organizers can keep the breakfasts going.
