Sheriff Wayne Gallant of the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office was guest speaker at the Memorial Day ceremony Monday morning in Rumford. He reminded people that Memorial Day “was a day of forgiveness; to forgive those who were once our enemies, those who once disagreed with us, and to forgive ourselves.”
