LITCHFIELD — A bomb threat at Carrie Ricker School on Friday forced school officials to move students for the second day in a row.

The school for grades three to five was evacuated Thursday after the words “Bomb, bomb, bomb, die” were discovered written in the boys’ bathroom.

Messages left with the RSU 4 superintendent and with the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Department seeking more information on Friday’s threat were not returned.

Friday’s scare was the fourth in RSU 4 schools this week. On Monday, a threat cleared Oak Hill Middle School and on Tuesday a threat closed Oak Hill High School, both in Wales. Police charged a 14-year-old girl in the middle school hoax.
