LEWISTON — Lauri A. St. Michel-Newhall, 49, of Plains Road, Harrison, died Saturday, April 13, at a Lewiston Hospital following a long illness.
She was born in Portland, Sept. 24, 1963, the daughter of Robert O. Sr. and Iris B. Jackson St. Michel. She attended schools in the Harrison area and graduated from Oxford Hills High School, Class of 1981.
On Dec. 24, 1985, she married Shawn Newhall in Harrison, where together they lived and raised their family.
Lauri was an artist who enjoyed painting, needle point, crocheting along with many other craft projects. Her greatest love was the time she spent surrounded by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Shawn Newhall of Harrison; a son, Ezekial S. Newhall of Harrison; three sisters, Helen and her husband, Rob Robillard, of South Paris, Gail and her husband, Kevin Trenberth, of Colorado, and Mildred Dube of New Hampshire; and several nieces and nephews.
Lauri was predeceased by her parents; and a brother, Robert St. Michel Jr.
