Lewiston Bridge Club winners
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club winners at the Lewiston Armory on April 8 were as follows: first in A, Jeanine Kivus and David Lock; second, Dick Allen and Pete Cummings; third, Larry Fortier and Roger Labbe; fourth, Sue Kaluzynski and Paul Sherman; first in B & C: Larry Fortier and Roger Labbe; second in B: Sue Kaluzynski and Paul Sherman; second in C: Kathy Kenyon and Ellen Smith.
Winners on April 9 were: first in A: Jeanine Kivus and Luke Merry; second, Sherry Hinckley and Fred Letourneau; third/first in B, Marta Clements and Cindy Kirchherr; fourth, Patricia Garcia and David Lock; fifth/second in B, Kathy Burden and Mary Trafton; first in C, Larry and Steve Kolkhorst.
No game will be played on Monday, April 15, Patriots’ Day. Games are played on Mondays and Tuesdays at 9 a.m. in the Seniors’ Room at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. A partner is always guaranteed and all bridge players are welcomed. Call Rosemarie Goodwin at 754-1431 for more information.
Longaberger, pottery bingo
LOCKE MILLS — The Nezinscot Valley PTO will hold a Longaberger basket and pottery bingo on Sunday, April 21, at the American Legion Hall, Gore Road.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Lunch items will be available. Games will begin at 12:30 p.m.
The cost for 16 games is $10. Additional games are $5. Raffle tickets are $1, six for $5 or 20 for $10.
Proceeds benefit Hartford, Sumner and Buckfield pre-K through grade 12 children and staff.

DUV members adopt by-laws
STONEHAM — The Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War 1861-1865 Hannah F. Richardson Tent 19 of Stoneham held their monthly meeting March 27 at the home of Marilyn Jones in Norway.
The new by-laws were voted on and adopted. Mystery prize was won by Elaine Lagueux and furnished by Brenda Woods.
Those present all said hello to member Wanda Ryerson and wished her a happy birthday over the phone. She recently moved to Chester, S.C.
The next meeting will be tentatively held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at the Community Room in Stoneham.
