AUBURN — The next meeting of First Auburn Seniors will be at the Hasty Community Center on Wednesday, April 3, where President Don Nason will conduct the meeting. The board of directors will meet at 10 a.m. The regular meeting will be at 11.

Meal tickets will be on sale for a lasagna dinner on April 17. The cost is $5. The program will be a food auction. Pat Donohue will be the auctioneer. There will be no raffle.

Fifty-five members attended the last meeting. Attendance winners were Angie Jipson and Lennie Godbout. Pot of Gold winners were Sue Patneaude, George Herrick and Phyllis Latlippe. Special drawings were won by Jeri Lunt, Helen Merrow and Irene Fraser.

This is the 50 year anniversary of First Auburn Senior Citizens. Member Lucy Corvee’s daughter Paula Mikkelsen is preparing an anniversary book about the seniors. She spoke briefly about the group’s history. When completed the book will be available to any senior.
