LEWISTON — If you or someone you know is homeless, Tri-County Mental Health Services needs your help. Government funds are sent to states and agencies based on the number of homeless that live in each community. Help get the resources you need simply by standing up being counted.
There are two ways to be counted:
1. Visit the following Town Halls between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30.
Androscoggin County: Auburn, Durham, Greene, Leeds, Lewiston, Lisbon, Livermore, Livermore Falls, Mechanic Falls, Minot, Poland, Sabattus, Turner and Wales.
Oxford County: Andover, Bethel, Brownfield, Buckfield, Byron, Canton, Denmark, Dixfield, Fryeburg, Gilead, Greenwood, Hanover, Hartford, Hebron, Hiram, Lovell, Mexico, Newry, Norway, Otisfield, Oxford, Paris, Peru, Porter, Roxbury, Rumford, Stoneham, Stow, Sumner, Sweden, Upton, Waterford, West Paris and Woodstock.
Franklin County: Avon, Carrabassett Valley, Carthage, Chesterville, Coplin Plantation, Dallas Plantation, Eustis, Farmington, Industry, Jay, Kingfield, New Sharon, New Vineyard, Phillips, Rangeley, Rangeley Plantation, Sandy River Plantation, Strong, Temple, Weld and Wilton.
2. Call Jerry Dewitt of Tri-County Mental Health Services at 576?0376 between Jan. 23 and 30 and take the survey by phone.
Tri-County will provide resources to those who need help.
