The Grinch has arrived early in Lewiston.

The Grinch, in the form of a person, proceeded to order a coffee at a local doughnut shop near the hospital and while the employee was making the coffee the thief decided to help himself to the collection container that was full of money destined to be used to buy fabric and supplies to make pillowcases for ill children in our Maine hospitals.

It is very sad that a person could stoop so low as to steal from children.

A replacement container has been dropped off but will not be able to be left out full time due to sticky fingers, but we will not let that person ruin the project.
