Church announces holiday fair

PARIS — A holiday fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Universalist Church, Pine Street. Many gift items and collectibles will be for sale.

A beef stew or corn chowder luncheon will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $7. To order take-out lunches, call 743-7403.

Church will host its third supper

OTISFIELD — The East Otisfield Free Baptist Church, 231 Rayville Road, will host its third supper on Saturday, Nov. 10. There will be settings at 5 and 6 p.m.

The menu will include roast pork, potato casserole, applesauce, carrots, rolls, salads and a pumpkin dessert. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available. Donations will benefit the scholarship fund, which assists local students pursuing post secondary education.

Jones band to play for dance

PARIS — A dance with music by the Jones Dance Band will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 17 and 24, at the American Legion Hall, Church Street. The cost is $5.

VFW will host Saturday dance

HARRISON — The Harrison VFW Post, Waterford Road, will hold a dance from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Nov. 10. Admission is $10 a person, 21 and over. In observance of Veterans Day bring proof of service and get in free.

Crafty Diva Fair to benefit PTO

NORWAY — The Crafty Diva Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10,  at the Guy E. Rowe Elementary School, 219 Main St. Admission is free.

Swingin’ Bears to hold dance

PARIS — The Swingin’ Bears Square Dance Club of South Paris will have a dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Oxford Hills Middle School, 100 Pine St.

Walter Lougee of Milo will be the caller, calling Mainstream and Plus. The cuer for the round dancing will be Bernie Porter of Hooksett, N.H.
