Tickets available for Bethel breakfast
BETHEL — The Rotary Club of Bethel will host its annual country breakfast from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at Ordway Hall, Gould Academy, Church Street.
The annual event benefits community projects and scholarships. The menu will include pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, homefries, breads and beverages. Advance tickets are $7 for adults; $8 at the door; and children $3. All Bethel Rotary members have advance tickets for sale.

Parent-student-teacher meetings
MEXICO — Mountain Valley Middle School will hold parent-student-teacher conferences from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 7 and 8.
This year’s conferences will include students in the discussion.
Team teacher meetings will be by appointment. Allied Arts teachers will be available for drop-in meetings.
There will be snacks, displays, Powerschool training, and school counselors will be on hand. Door prizes will include three iPod shuffles for students and three gas cards for parents.

What Not Shop day open change
RUMFORD — The What Not Shop will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24. The shop will not be open the second Saturday of the month, Nov. 9. Regular weekday hours will be as usual, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Senior center hosting Christmas fair
RUMFORD — The Rumford Senior Center will host a Christmas craft fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10.
There will be a Chinese auction, craft table, homebaked goods, knitted goods,white elephant table, cutlery and food basket/placemats/quilt raffle. Coffee and muffins will be available.
Church of the Hill Christmas fair
DIXFIELD — The Dixfield Congregational Church, the Church of the Hill, will hold its annual Christmas fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, in the annex.
Tables will include coffee, crafts, silent auction, jewelry, baked goods, attic treasures, homemade candy, cookie walk and raffles. Luncheon will be served.
Turkey supper planned at church
MEXICO — A supper will be served at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Mexico Congregational Church, UCC (the Green Church). The menu will consist of a traditional roast turkey dinner and homemade pies. Take-outs will be available after 5:30 p.m. Call 364-8603. Cost is adults, $8; children under 12, $3.
Class to hold monthly luncheon
MEXICO — The Stephens High School Class of 1952 will meet at the Covered Wagon at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, for the monthly luncheon. All classmates and guests are welcome.
Town office is accepting donations
DIXFIELD — The Dixfield Town Office will be collecting food for the Dixfield Common Road Baptist Church Food Pantry through Friday, Nov. 30.
Monetary donations and donations of nonperishable food items may be dropped off at the town office from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Monetary donations may also be mailed to Town of Dixfield, PO Box 808, Dixfield, ME. 04224.
