In driving around downtown Lewiston trying to decide who to support, I noticed the fundamental difference between the two candidates for the Maine House.
Mike Carey’s signs say “Democrat,” whereas Michael Marcotte’s signs say, “It’s All About Lewiston.”
To me, that says it all. One candidate is running to represent the Democratic Party leaders, such as Cynthia Dill. The other candidate is running to represent Lewiston.
The Democrat Party usually lines up with my priorities, but my priorities always line up with what is best for the city of Lewiston.
That is why I am supporting Michael Marcotte because, after all, it really is all about Lewiston.
