PARIS — A Hiram man accused of trafficking oxycodone near Sacopee Valley Middle School and Sacopee Valley High School is being held on $1,000 cash bail.

Gary J. Robedee, of 11 Emmons Row, faces two charges of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs. According to affidavits, Robedee sold oxycodone to Maine Drug Enforcement Agency agents and confidential informants on July 30 and Aug. 9.

The affidavit, by Special Agent Norman Nichols of the Sanford Police Department and the MDEA, details the two purchases. In each instance, Robedee is described selling three 30 mg. oxycodone tablets.

Because the controlled purchases took place at Robedee’s home, which is close to the high school and middle school, the charges were elevated to Class A, which carries a sentence of up to 30 years.

Robedee is being held on $1,000 cash bail or a Maine Pretrial Services contract.
