SABATTUS — The regular selectmen’s meeting scheduled Tuesday, Sept. 18, has been postponed to 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, Town Manager Andrew Gilmore said.
It will be immediately after a public hearing scheduled for 6 p.m. The hearing is on whether to put three proposed charter amendments before voters Nov. 6. One would remove the provision of a single assessor, which the town doesn’t have, according to Gilmore. One would create a separate Board of Assessment Review and one would name selectmen as a fair hearing authority for General Assistance appeals.
