BRIDGTON — The wedding of Rebecca Jeanne Mary Dionne and Andrew Charles Hill was held at 4 p.m. on July 27 at Baldpate Mountain in Bridgton. Ron Liberty, notary public, officiated at the ceremony, which was attended by immediate family.

Mrs. Hill is the daughter of Maurice and Rita Dionne of Wales. Mr. Hill is the son of David and Carol Hill of Denmark.

The bride wore a silk tricotine gown in ivory with sleek shoulder baring halter silhouette offset by a deep V down the back and straight skirt with slight train. The bouquet was a selection of native field and perennial flowers gathered by the bride, her mother and sister and wrapped with pink silk ribbon.

Elizabeth F. Dionne, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. David Hill, father of the bridegroom, was best man.

A reception followed July 28 at Peabody Pond in Sebago at the Bachelder cottage, owned by the grandparents of the bridegroom. Following a wedding trip along the Maine coast, Brooklin and Blue Hill, the couple is residing in West Bath.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Oak Hill High School in Wales and a 2007 graduate of the University of New York in Syracuse with a bachelor’s  degree in environmental biology. She received a master’s degree in 2011 from the University of Maine at Orono. She is employed as a biology teacher at Medomak Valley High School in Waldoboro.

The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Gorham High School and a 2010 gaduate of the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He plans to enter the Maine School of Law in the fall. He has been employed at Becky’s Diner in Portland since 2004.
