PARIS — The first Western Maine Christian Men’s Conference will take place Friday, Sept. 14, and Saturday, Sept. 15. The theme of the area wide multi-church sponsored event is “Building Strong Men in Tough Times.”
A kick-off rally will place at South Paris Baptist Church, 2 Park St., at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, with pastor Tim Fox of the Oxford Advent Christian Church as the featured speaker.
Conference day, Saturday, Sept. 15, will start at 8 a.m. at the Crosstone Conference Center, in the Mollyockett Motel building, Route 26, Woodstock.
The morning session featured speaker is pastor Kevin Smart of South Paris Baptist Church. Four great choices for lunch will follow. The afternoon featured speaker is pastor Dallas Henry of Hosanna Church in Oxford.
There are also eight different morning and afternoon workshops featuring great speakers. Additionally, there will be an “all star” worship team made up of men from several Maine churches.
