FARMINGTON — It is with pleasure that Gary and Anita Hedstrom of Farmington, announce the engagement of their daughter, Monica S. Hedstrom, to Matthew R. Clark, son of Ann Clark of Readfield and Daniel Cyr of Rome.

Miss Hedstrom is a graduate of Mt. Blue High School and  Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vt., with a master’s degree. She teaches mathematics at Mt. Abram High School in Salem.

Mr. Clark is a graduate of Kents Hill School and Maine Maritime Academy. He is a deck officer with U.S. Shipping Company.

The couple lives in Farmington  and  they are planning a fall wedding.
