INDUSTRY — Jacob J. Chick, 21, of Industry, passed away suddenly from a tragic accident on Saturday, Aug. 25.

He was born to Maria and Buba Stevens, Aug. 23, 1991. Jacob lived in Industry his entire life. His childhood was filled with camping, fishing, and hunting with his family. He loved camping, four-wheeling, fishing, playing football and snowboarding.

He graduated from Mt. Blue High School in 2009. After high school, Jacob attended college in Calais. He recently graduated from college and was a valued employee of Sustainable Structures. He was a hard worker who would help anybody who needed it. Jacob had a soft spot in his heart for young kids.

Jacob is survived by his parents, Buba and Maria Stevens of Industry; his brother, Issac Chick and his partner, Megan Picard; niece, Christina Chick; nephew, Issac Jayden Chick; his grandparents, Freeman L. and Rachel Chick, Leo and Elaine Stevens and Edward Chick; many cousins, aunts and uncles, including a special uncle, Travis Chick; his girlfriend, Ashley Smith, who he loved with all his heart; and his lifelong best friend, Antonio Desanctis, who was always there for Jacob.

Jacob was predeceased by his great-grandmother, Abbie Hoar.
