AUBURN — The Corporate and Community Services department at Central Maine Community College will offer a grant-writing workshop on consecutive Wednesdays beginning Sept. 12 through Sept. 26. The time is 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the cost is $169, including materials.

The workshop is an introduction to preparing proposals for funding nonprofits. It’s for beginners who are prepared for a thorough overview of the process as well as more experienced practitioners who seek to build a stronger knowledge base.

The program will be facilitated by Christos Gianopoulos, who has decades of experience in personal and professional development, leadership of community initiatives, and teaching. A graduate of Bowdoin College, he also holds graduate degrees from American University and Syracuse University.
