I have been in contact with many politicians through the years. One who stands out in my mind is state Rep. Paul Gilbert of District 87.

When my husband was ill and housebound, he enjoyed Gilbert’s visits and discussions of state and local affairs.

Now that I am a widow, Gilbert has been helpful to me with ideas, suggestions and answers to my many questions and concerns. His compassion, especially for us older citizens, is very much appreciated.

Paul Gilbert has my vote.
