AUBURN — Thomas and Ann Verrill of Auburn are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Betsy, to Richard Bullock, son of John and Gretchen Bullock of Dayton, Ohio, and Longboat Key, Fla.

The future bride graduated from Edward Little High School in 1998 and from Georgetown University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She earned her master’s degree at Harvard Business School in 2008. She is the director for strategy and business development at Smith and Nephew, a medical device company in Andover, Mass.

The future bridegroom graduated from Oakwood High School in Dayton, Ohio, in 1997 and from Princeton University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in politics. He earned a master’s degree in international relations from Yale University in 2006. He recently finished work as senior researcher on the U.S. Competitiveness Project at Harvard Business School. He will enroll in Harvard Business School’s master’s degree program in August.

The couple, who resides in Cambridge, Mass., will marry this September at Bailey Island.
