The Helen A. Griffin Memorial Scholarship: Paige Wood.
Winthrop Business Club Scholarship is awarded to students going on to college and majoring in business: This year the scholarship was awarded to Victoria Romar.
The Rhymes and Reasons Early Childhood Scholarship: Daisy Leighton.
The Winthrop Grange 209 Scholarship: Darian Nadeau.
The Dana L. Childs Memorial Scholarship: Daisy Leighton.

The Sandie Belden Memorial Scholarship: Amy Belanger.
The Senator George J. Mitchell Scholarship Research Institute awards 129 scholarships each year, one to a graduating senior from every public high school in Maine. The scholarship award amount is $6000. Each year there are more than 1000 applications from across the state. This year’s Mitchell Scholar from Winthrop High School is Amy Belanger.
The Germaine Auclair Memorial Scholarship: Darian Nadeau.
The Maine Masonic Scholarship is awarded to a student who exhibits the qualities of leadership, citizenship and scholastic achievement. This year’s recipient is Christopher Bowers.
The 2012 Gardiner Federal Credit Union Educational Gift: Connor Doyle
The Augusta Kiwanis Club Scholarship goes to a deserving student who has displayed community and school service with consideration given to a student’s academic achievement, character and leadership capabilities. This year the scholarship was awarded to Timothy Dunn.
The Glenn S. Hayford Memorial Scholarship: Rebekah Lewis.
The Philip, David and Stephen Kelley Memorial Scholarship: Christian Gilman.
Eva King Bailey Foundation Fund Scholarships: Taylor Tarbox, Meagan Scully, Cameron MacMillan and Victoria Romar.
The Avis Adams Cadwell Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a graduate residing in Winthrop who has been accepted at an accredited institution. The student must be pursuing a career in nursing or in a health care related field. This year the scholarship was awarded to Amy Belanger.
The MELMAC Education Foundation Maine Principals’ Scholarship: Matthew Smith.
The George Wilson Athletic Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a senior residing in Winthrop with athletic accomplishments and goals, good sportsmanship, a promising academic capability. This year the recipient is Amy Belanger.
Gene Harrington Memorial Scholarships are awarded to students who have shown community spirit and have volunteered their time in various civic and/or humanitarian activities: Connor Doyle and Victoria Romar.
The Bank of Maine Scholarship is awarded to a student who shows leadership, character and a potential for success: Alyssa Rovella.
Winthrop Area Federal Credit Union Scholarships go to deserving graduates who are also members of the credit union: Tyler Foster, Alyssa Rovella and Victoria Romar.
Winthrop Athletic Boosters’ Club scholarships are given to one graduating senior boy and one graduating senior girl with athletic accomplishments and goals, good sportsmanship and promising athletic capability: Connor Doyle and Alison Sekerak.
Stanley Kanzey Memorial Scholarships: Paige Wood, Tyler Reeve, Christopher Bowers, Darian Nadeau, Connor Doyle, Tomothy Dunn, Alison Sekerak, Lauren Selwood, Amy Belanger and Meagan Scully.
The Bud Clough Athletic Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student who has participated in athletics: Tyler Foster.
The Bud Clough Vocational Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student who has participated in a vocational program of studies: Christian Gilman.
The Del Bissonette Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a senior who has displayed outstanding qualities of personality and character, who has maintained a high scholastic record, been a member of one or more of the school’s athletic teams and has contributed to a well-being of the school and community: Tyler Reeve.
The Ron Cross Memorial Scholarship is awarded to an art student that best reflects Ron’s character and a desire to further their education: Rebekah Lewis.
Ramsdell Memorial Fund Scholarships are awarded to graduating students based on being all-around students and having participated in activities within their church: Connor Doyle.
The Diana Sylvester Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a deserving graduate who plans to enter any medical related field. Diana Sylvestor, a 1968 graduate of WHS, went on to become a nurse and was working at a kidney center at the San Francisco University Medical Center at the time of her death. The award this year went to Paige Wood.

The Segal Scholarship is awarded to a student with good academic achievement and in good academic standing. The student must exhibit good citizenship, demonstrate a willingness to mentor younger students and otherwise set a good example. This year the award was presented to Tyler Reeve.

Benevolent & Protective Order of the Elks Augusta Lodge 964 Scholarships: Connor Doyle and Alison Sekerak.
Maine Community College System 2012 Early College for ME Scholarships: Chase Hopkins and Brandon McClure.
The Winthrop High School/Joseph Pietroski School Board Member Volunteerism Scholarship Donation is given to a graduating senior that has demonstrated their “love” of volunteering and community spirit, a student who has given their time freely throughout their high school career. This year the award went to Cameron MacMillan.
The Walter Taylor Memorial Scholarship: Lauren Selwood.
The Herbert E. Wadsworth Scholarship: Connor Doyle.
The Martha Williams Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a senior who has demonstrated an interest and talent in any of the art forms, music or poetry: Alyssa Rovella.
The Jeanette Cumber Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing a career in the field of music: Meagan Scully.
