BETHEL — The Mahoosuc Community Band will present its end-of-the-summer concert Monday, Aug. 13, at Gould Academy. Also performing will be several young musicians from Gould and Telstar Regional Middle/High School.

Refreshments will be served after the 7 p.m. concert in Bingham Auditorium. 

Though the performance is free, donations are accepted in support of the band.

The Mahoosuc Community Band continues to encourage participation at many levels, from students who want to advance their skills to grandparents who just love to play music. Anybody may bring their musical instruments and join the band at a practice.

Rehearsals for the fall will start at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, in the basement of West Parish Congregational Church.
