PHILLIPS — James and Lynne Eustis of Phillips are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Justin James Eustis, to Ashley Heather Van Riper, daughter of Robert and Tammy Van Riper of Mansfield, Ohio.

Ms. Van Riper graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 2008 and from Unity College in 2012, where she received a bachelor’s degree in marine biology. She is currently employed as an aquarist at the Maine State Aquarium in Boothbay Harbor.

Mr. Eustis graduated from Mt. Abram High School in 2007 and from Unity College in 2011, where he received a bachelor’s degree in conservation law enforcement. He is currently employed as a security specialist at NewPage in Rumford.

An August 2013 wedding in Maine is planned.
