BOWDOIN — Sharon D. Curtis, 60, of Main Street, Bowdoin, died Monday, July 16, at her home with her loving family at her side.

She was born in Gray, Aug. 6, 1951, a daughter of the late Walter Hinds and Donna (Walker) Littlefield. She was educated in Gray and graduated from Gray New Gloucester High School, Class of 1969. Sharon worked for Pineland Center, Preble Superette, and was working for A Plus Concrete Floors as a bookkeeper until she fell ill.

Sharon was a longtime member of the American Legion in Gray. She enjoyed gambling, snowmobiling, four wheeling, fishing, scrapbooking, going for motorcycle rides with her husband, Tim, and spending time with her granddaughter, Alyssa.

She leaves her longtime companion and husband, Tim Curtis of Bowdoin; a daughter, Lori Schools and her husband, Erik, of New Gloucester; a granddaughter, Alyssa Wilson of New Gloucester; four sisters, Paulette Fisher and husband, Richard, of California, Patricia Jackson of Pownal, Cynthia Jones and husband, Douglas, of Florida, and Pamela Haskell and husband, Charles, of New Gloucester; two brothers, Robert Pollard and wife, Shirley, of Massachusetts, and Gregory Hinds and wife, Sandra, of Sabattus; her mother-in-law, Dian Capen and husband, Gary, of South Dakota; father-in-law, Jerry Curtis and wife, Sharon, of Gardiner; brothers and sisters-in-law, Christy, Katie, Aimee, Monica, Nate and Brian; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
