Rumford Family Center donations
RUMFORD — For the month of July, donate 12 rolls of toilet paper or a box of tall garbage bags to be entered to win a $25 Marden’s gift certificate. Donations will benefit the Rumford Family Center, and should be dropped off at Curves, 60 Lowell St. No. 7, by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31.
The Rumford Family Center provides emergency shelter to homeless men, women and children during a period of crisis in their lives. Guests at the shelter receive one-on-one case management, emergency food and clothing and connections to resources throughout the community.
In addition to toilet paper and garbage bags, donations of nonperishable food products, hygiene and cleaning supplies are encouraged as they are in high demand. Donations of these products will not enter the donor into the raffle.
The drawing will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 1. For more information, contact Kathy Andrews at 357-3041 or visit “Curves Rumford, ME” and “Rumford Group Homes, Inc.” on Facebook.com.
