WELD — Franklin County deputies are investigating a burglary at Skoolhouse Variety on Route 156 that occurred either late Saturday or early Sunday, Lt. Niles Yeaton said Monday.

Entry was gained through a window.

Cigarettes were taken in the break-in but Yeaton said he did not know the quantity.

Deputy David Rackliffe is leading the investigation.

Physical evidence was collected at the scene and was taken Monday to the Maine State Police Crime Laboratory for analysis, he said.

Deputies do have some suspects, Yeaton said.
