CLINTON, N.Y. – Emily M. Grund, daughter of Susan Pease of Auburn and David Grund of Auburn, has been named to the dean’s list at Hamilton College for the 2012 spring semester.

Grund, a rising sophomore, is a graduate of Edward Little High School.

SEARCY, Ark. — Michelle Heroux of Harrison and Brittany Wilson of New Gloucester were among more than 1,000 Harding University students included on the dean’s list for grades achieved during the spring semester.

FOREST GROVE, Ore. —  Jessica Barbay of Lisbon Falls has graduated from Pacific University with a doctoral degree in optometry.

ATLANTA, Ga. — Jordan Conant of Winthrop made the dean’s list for the spring semester 2012 at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Jennifer Kellogg of Rumford was among the 232 students who received graduate degrees from Providence College during the college’s 94th commencement exercises held May 20. Kellogg received a master’s degree in guidance and counselor education.

POTSDAM, N.Y. — Jessica L. Mitaly of New Gloucester, a sophomore majoring in aeronautical engineering and mechanical engineering, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2012 semester at Clarkson University.

BURLINGTON, Vt. —  James A. Montague of East Wilton was recognized at an Honors Day Ceremony held by the College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Vermont earlier this spring.

Montague received the Douglas P. Fay Award awarded to the student who has made the greatest contribution to civil or environmental engineering during the past year presented by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering in the School of Engineering. Montague was also inducted into Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honor Society during the academic year.

ALFRED, N.Y. — Jon Preble of Gray was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2012 semester at Alfred University. Preble is a senior in the Inamori School of Engineering. He is a mechanical engineering major.

A graduate of Gray New Gloucester High School, Preble is the son of Jeffrey Preble.
