LEWISTON — A water main break on Mollison Way shut off water to businesses and caused a traffic detour Tuesday afternoon.
According to the city of Lewiston, Water Division crews were mobilizing on Tuesday afternoon to repair the leak.
Carbonite, Seniors Plus and the drug dispensary center did not have water There is a detour around the work zone.
As of 3:30 on Wednesday afternoon, the city estimates it may take 8 to 10 hours before water is restored.

- A crew from the Lewiston Water District work to remove earth from around a water main that began leaking Tuesday afternoon in front of Sparetime Recreation on Mollison Way. The city had sent out an alert around 3:30 p.m. saying water could be disrupted to the area for up to 10 hours.
