AUBURN — The communities of Auburn and Lewiston are invited to a Neighborhood Flag Day Ceremony on Thursday, June 14, at 7 p.m. in Raymond Park, South Main Street. The evening is hosted by American Legion Post 153 under the command of Dave Richardson, Auburn Councilor Leroy Walker of Ward 5 and Auburn Councilor Tizz Crowley of Ward 1.

Auburn’s Post 153 will present a new flag for the park. Commander Dave Richardson will lead the Pledge of Allegiance. The National Anthem will be sung by Mitchell Clyde Thomas of Durham during the celebration.

Bettyann Sheats will give a brief presentation on flag etiquette for the community.
