HARRISON — The Harrison Recreation Department’s 10th annual 5K Run By the Lake will take place Wednesday, July 11, rain or shine.

Runners, walkers, families and friends are all invited to 20 Front St. for the start of the race at 7 p.m. Finish line will be at the post office. Registration will be held from 5 to 6:45 p.m. at the Harrison Town Office.

The fee is $13 by July 1 or $18 after July 1, with $3 off for Harrison residents. T-shirts will be given to the first 100 preregistered runners.

Those wishing may register online at www.harrisonmaine.org under “Recreation,” “5K” and see link to www.running4free.com. Registration forms  may be mailed to Town of Harrison, Attention: Race Director, P.O. Box 300, Harrison, ME 04040.
