AARP speaker

PARIS — The Oxford Hills Chapter of AARP will meet on Monday, June 11, at the First Congregational Church, East Main Street, South Paris.  A lunch of ham quiche tray will be served at noon.  The cost is $6.50, and reservations are required by calling Ruth at 744-9069 by Friday, June 8.

The business meeting will begin at 1 p.m. and will include final plans for the August trip to Cook’s Lobster House and a boat ride.  Members should bring a contribution to the Food Pantry. Speaker will be Linda Hooker with information on the latest scams.

Supper, dance

LOCKE MILLS — A supper-dance will be held from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, at the American Legion Hall, Gore Road. Music will be provided by the Jones Band. Doors will open at 4 p.m. and cost will be adults $10, children $3.
