St. Luke’s plant sale

WILTON — St. Luke’s ECW plant sale will take place from 9 a.m. to  noon Saturday, May 19, at the church, 59 High St.

Perennials, house plants, small bushes such as lilacs, as well as gently used gardening tools, books, planters, etc. are available at reasonable prices. Two $25 gift certificates to Robin’s Flowerpot will be raffled.

WILTON — St. Luke’s annual ECW Yard Sale will take place beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 26., at the church, 59 High St.

Gently-used yard, household and personal items will be for sale at reasonable prices, benefiting the church. A homemade foods table will have baked goods, jams, fudge and other goodies for sale.

ATV safety course

JAY — The Jay Police Department will conduct an ATV safety course from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at the Jay Community Building in the basement level. There is no charge to the public for the course.

The class is limited to 15 students. Children 10-15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult throughout the class. Each student should bring a lunch and a helmet if they have one.

The class will be instructed by Cpl. Jeff Fournier and Det. Richard Caton, both stated certified ATV instructors. Anyone wishing to take the course may call the Jay Police Department at 897-6766 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
