Central Maine Federal Credit Union recently donated $500 to Special Olympics of Maine. Trina Mercier, assistant vice president of operations, presents the check to David Baird, president/CEO of Insurance Trust. To help support the individual and team athletes, the Social Responsibility Committee of Insurance Trust, along with Maine credit union employees, directors and members, participates in numerous fundraisers throughout the year that benefit Special Olympics Maine. The funds pay for new events, programs, Camp Tall Pines, equipment and scholarships for athletes. CMFCU is at 1000 Lisbon St. in Lewiston.
