JAY — RSU 73 students and staff will kick off a districtwide food drive Monday to help fill the cupboards at the Tri-Town Ministerial Food Cupboard in Livermore Falls that serves families in Jay, Livermore and Livermore Falls.

There will be boxes and volunteers at every building in the RSU 73 district, including the Central Office in Livermore Falls, and schools in all three towns.

If anyone would like to donate money, checks should be made out to: Tri-Town Ministerial Food Cupboard.

Some of the things food cupboard organizers suggest donating are pasta, pasta sauce, canned baked beans, canned soup, SpaghettiOs, ravioli, canned vegetables, fruit juices, macaroni and cheese, canned tuna, cereals and peanut butter.

There is also a need for personal care items, including baby diapers, baby wipes, toilet paper, soap, toothpaste and shampoos.
