HARRISON — Linda C. LaBonte, 63, of Harrison passed away, along with her mother, Carmen Smith, Wednesday, May 2, following a tragic car accident in Harrison.
Linda was born April 9, 1949, in Lewiston, the daughter of Richard O. and Carmen (Charest) Smith. She spent most of her childhood in the Lewiston area and was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy in Jackman, Class of 1967. She also attended St. Regis College in Boston.
She was employed since 1987 as vice president of High Tech Fire Protection in Poland. Linda enjoyed collecting antiques and was co-owner of Aged to Perfection Antiques with her life partner, Irene Finch.
She loved traveling, especially trips to Las Vegas; winter skiing; playing with her grandchildren and her grandniece, Elli; and nurturing all animals. She was also an auto enthusiast.
Linda leaves behind her life partner of 19 years, Irene Finch of Harrison; a daughter, Pamela Paz and her husband, Edward and daughters, Katherine and Elizabeth of Franklin, Wis.; a brother, Gary Smith and his wife, Brenda, of Lewiston; two sisters-in-law, Fran Smith of Oxford and Kathy Richardson of Ellsworth; two brothers-in-law, Ken Finch and his wife, Deborah, of Fort Myers, Fla., and John Finch and his partner, Doug Mays, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; nieces and nephews, Rick Smith and wife, Lucille and daughter, Elli, Scott Smith and wife, Kelly and two sons, Brandon and Bryce, Eric Smith, Greg Finch and Kate Robbins, Nathan Finch and wife, Jennifer and daughter, Lily, Sarah Finch, Andrew Richardson and Kirsty Moriarty and Danielle Richardson and Alex Slack; and numerous cousins.
She was predeceased by her brother, Daniel N. Smith, her father, Richard O. Smith; and nephew, Jason K. Finch.
