The Jesus Party Pentecostal Kid’s Church of Lewiston held its 17th annual Good Friday service for area children on April 6. The children were treated to a special presentation of the crucifixion of Christ by Connie Stockwell, at left, who is an attendee of The Church of God in Christ in Auburn. She spoke of the forgiveness through the blood of Jesus using a dramatic object lesson as visual tool for the children’s understanding. She also brought stuffed animals for the children to take home. The ministry’s director, Rev. Douglas Taylor, at right, shared the Easter story through 12 colorful eggs containing items that symbolize events in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. Kaitlyn Taylor shared a choreographed exaggerated sign language dance set to Christian music for the children to enjoy.
