LEWISTON — Michael J. Grant Sr., 62, passed away from a long illness on his birthday March 26, at Marshwood Nursing facility.

He was born March 26, 1950, in Portland, to Joseph M. Grant and Alice R. Grant.

Survivors include his children, Melissa; a son, Michael; son-in-law Jay; four sisters, Donna, Helen, Winnie and Patty; granddaughters, Mercedes and Vanessa; friend, Lisa; niece, Maci; and his ex-wife, Mara.
