Square Dance clubs join forces
PARIS —The Swingin’ Bears Square Dance Club of South Paris and Friendship Squares of Wilton will present square and round dancing from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at the Oxford Hills Middle School, 100 Pine St.
The husband and wife team of Kip and Linda Moulton of Scarborough will be doing the calling and cueing.
There will be two mainstream tips, then a plus tip for the squaredancing, which will be called by Kip. Linda will cue easy and intermediate levels for the round dancing.
Refreshments will be served at intermission. There will be door prizes and a pot o’ gold drawing. Admission is $6 per person. Non-dancers are welcome at no charge.

VFW Ladies to hold supper
HARRISON — The VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 9328 will hold a public supper from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at the Harrison VFW on the Waterford Road, Route 35.
The menu includes homemade baked beans, coleslaw, casseroles, salads, pies and beverages. This supper is a fundraiser for the Ladies Auxiliary. Donations greatly appreciated.
Nonviolent protests to be taught
AUGUSTA — MOVE ON.Org in collaboration with the 99% Spring and other partners will be presenting a nonviolent direct action training from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at the Unitarian Universalist Community Church, 69 Winthrop St.
Participants will learn nonviolent tactics and strategies on how to do direct civic action protests during presentations throughout the day.

VFW plans public breakfast
HARRISON — The Harrison VFW, on the Waterford Road, will hold its popular public breakfast from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 15, at the post on Route 35. The breakfast features scrambled eggs, French toast, pancakes, biscuits and country gravy, bacon, sausage, home fries, fruit cup, sweet breads, orange juice and beverage. Donations will be accepted.
Historical group potluck, meet
WEST PARIS — The West Paris Historical Society will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, April 16, for a potluck supper followed by a meeting at 7 p.m.

PARIS — The Hamlin Memorial Library & Museum is accepting vendor applications for the annual Founder’s Day event which will take place on Saturday, July 21. Twenty- by 20-foot spaces are $30.
