Gallery exhibit opening tonight
BETHEL — Gould Academy will host the work of Niccole Ugay at the Owen Art Gallery this spring. The show, called “Reflections of the Dreamt Self,” will open Thursday, April 5, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Ugay hails from Fullerton, Calif. She is the senior textile and graphic designer at Kellwood, where she develops new graphic art for a range of brands and products, including Lamb and Flag, Candies, Jolt, Baby Phat, XOXO, Rewind and My Michelle.

Bethel Seniors to meet
BETHEL — The Bethel Senior Citizens Club will meet for their meeting and dinner at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, at the Funky Red Barn. The menu will be fish or prime rib. Reservations are required by calling Caroline Gould at 824-3226 or Arlene Lowell at 824-2877 with meal choice. Price of dinner is $11.95. The speaker will be Joel Speakman.
Churches list Holy Week events
HARRISON — United Parish Congregational Church of Harrison and North Bridgton has announced the worship schedule for Holy Week.
A service of Tenebrae will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 5. The service includes the Lord’s Supper and scripture readings in darkness.
The Easter sunrise service at Lake Keoka will take place at 6 a.m. Sunday, April 8, with the Waterford and North Waterford UCC. Breakfast afterward at North Waterford UCC.
The Easter Celebration of the Resurrection service will feature worship with communion and trumpet music.
Clothing Center will be open
HARTFORD — The Hartford Community Clothing Center will be open on Saturday, April 7, and Saturday, April 21, from 9 to 11 a.m. The Clothing Center is directly opposite the church.
‘Always Easter’ to be topic
PARIS — “Always Easter” will be the title of Silver Moore-Leamon’s sermon at the First Universalist Church, Pine Street, on Easter Sunday, April 8. The 10 a.m. worship service will include Easter music under the direction of Joyce Franklin. Sunday School is under the direction of Renee Wales. Coffee and fellowship will follow the worship service and all are welcome. Childcare is available.
Legion hosting indoor yard sale
SOUTH PARIS — An indoor yard sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at the American Legion Post 72 on Church Street. The lunch counter will be open and 50/50 tickets will be available. Contact Jean Britton at 739-2236 to reserve a table.
Hebron holding K registration
HEBRON — Registration and screening for next year’s kindergarten class at Hebron Station School will be held on Tuesday, May 1. Children who will be 5 years old on or before Oct. 15 are eligible to attend kindergarten.
Parents are encouraged to contact the Hebron Station School office immediately to set an appointment for May 1. Appointments will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis. Be prepared to give the child’s name, birth date, home address and phone number.
On May 1, parents must present a copy of the child’s official birth certificate, a copy of the immunization record and a copy of the child’s most recent physical exam.
