WALES — Kenyon Fraser, a senior at Oak Hill High School, has been selected to receive the 2012 Principal’s Award, Principal Patricia Doyle has announced.

Fraser is the son of Sheri and Paul Fraser of Litchfield. The award is sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association and is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.

Throughout his years at Oak Hill, Fraser has distinguished himself and has been involved in many activities. He has been a member of Drama, Jazz Band, Academic Decathlon, Math Team and the Oak Hill Legislative Assembly.

Fraser was also inducted into the National Honor Society, served on the Student Leadership Team and was a class officer during his sophomore and senior years. During his four years at Oak Hill, Fraser participated in soccer and was captain of the team his senior year.

Fraser and Doyle will attend an Honors Luncheon at the Spectacular Event Center in Bangor on Saturday, April 7.
