‘Cat’ meeting
DIXFIELD — River Valley Animal Advocates will host a community “cat” meeting for residents of Dixfield, Farmington and surrounding towns at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at Ludden Memorial Library.
The session will feature Katie Lisnik, director of cat protection and policy, companion animals, for the Humane Society of the United States, Portland.
Set-up time will be held from 5:30 to 6 p.m. with the meeting from 6 to 8 p.m.
Those attending should use the side entrance at 42 Main St.

Raptors to visit
FARMINGTON — The Maine Forest Service and the Upper Kennebec Valley Chapter of the Small Woodland Owner’s Association of Maine will host a presentation from Wind over Wings representatives at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 31, at the Farmington Town Office.
Wind over Wings is a nonprofit raptor education service, bringing live, Zachariah the raven, Skywalker the golden eagle, Pippin the saw whet owl and a red tailed hawk.
Founder Hope Douglas and volunteer Carol Fackler will discuss the birds, bird habitats in the woodlands and their stories.

Four-church supper
WILTON — The Wilton United Methodist Church will host a Wilton Ecumenical Council supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31. The menu will consist of baked beans, casseroles, salads, bread, desserts and beverages. The supper is free, however those wishing may make a donation in support of each of the churches’ Outreach Projects.
