FARMINGTON — Linda Lockhart has joined the staff of health care providers at Franklin Health Behavioral Services.

She will be responsible for psychiatric assessments and evaluations of adults, medication management, and therapeutic mental health counseling. She will provide services in Farmington and Livermore Falls.

Lockhart is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who recently received her master of science degree in nursing from the University of Southern Maine. While there, she completed a long-term clinical practicum in psychiatric mental health at Riverview Psychiatric Center in Augusta.

Prior to that, she studied law at the University of Maine School of Law, earning her juris doctor degree in 1996. She practiced law for many years in Maine before deciding on a career change.

Lockhart has relocated to Farmington from Gray. She is the parent of three adult daughters and the grandparent of seven.

Other providers in the practice include psychiatrist Arthur Dingley, DO; nurse practitioner Rebecca Chandler, APRN; and a team of fully licensed therapists and social workers.

Franklin Health Behavioral Services is in the Mt. Blue Health Center next to Franklin Memorial Hospital and offers a continuum of care in the areas of mental health and medication management. Outpatient services are also provided at the new Androscoggin Valley Medical Arts Center on Main Street in Livermore Falls that opened in January.
