CASCO — The Casco Farmers’ Market, a seasonal, open-air forum, will be open every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. starting May 24 through Sept. 20. The market is in front of the Casco Library on the Casco Village green, 940 Meadow Road (Route 121).
Vendor registration is underway and vendors are sought to sell a variety of locally grown fresh vegetables and fruits, cheeses, fish, seafood, meats, honey, maple syrup, organic items and crafts such as handmade birdhouses, baskets, animal fibers, etc. See rules, agreement and application forms at www.cascofarmersmarket.com. Those with items for sale that are not already listed should add them to the application. Vendor fees are $60 for the season or $15 per day. Organizers would appreciate receiving applications before the next meeting, April 12, but will also review applications that are received past this date.
Entertainers or educators interested in participating are invited to contact the group through the website or via email at cascofarmersmarket@yahoo.com with information.
