LIVERMORE — Nomination papers for municipal and school positions will be available Monday, March 19. They are due back on Friday, April 27.
The election will be held Tuesday, June 12, at the Fire Station.
A three-year term is available on the RSU 73 board of directors currently held by Tim Madden, town Administrative Assistant Kurt Schaub said.
Two seats on the Board of Selectpersons are available: a three-year term held by board Chairwoman Grace Jacques and a two-year term held by Brenda Merrill.
A two-year treasurer’s term held by Kurt Schaub, and a two-year town clerk position held by Renda Libby will have to be filled.
A referendum on closing the south campus of Spruce Mountain High School in Livermore Falls will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, at the Fire Station.
Absentee ballots are available.
A public hearing on the proposed closure will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, at the south campus cafeteria.
