STONEHAM — The Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War 1861-1865 Hannah F. Richardson Tent 19 held their first meeting of the new year Feb. 15 at the home of Marilyn Jones. Six members were present.

The charter was draped for past national president Pat Mellonix.

Installation of officers was held. Elaine Lagueux, past tent president and 50 years-plus member of Tent 19, served as installing officer. Members who were absent will be installed at a later date.

Sister Elaine Lagueux stressed the point that when the treasurer pays an order drawn by the secretary, it must be approved by the president and at least one member of the council.

Mystery prize was won by Dayle Burnell. The next meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, tentatively at the Community Room in Stoneham.
