Mt. Blue program
WELD — The Mount Blue State Park weekend program will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, March 3 and 4. The park is located on Center Hill.
The Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands Ski and Snowshoe trailer will be available for individuals to try their hand at these outdoor activities. Adult and children sizes are available. Equipment use will be free for the event.
A three-mile guided snowshoeing excursion with a registered Maine guide will take place at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Snowshoes are available to use for free.

CVA raffle winner
CARRABASSETT VALLEY — CVA Fundraiser Exceeds Goal. Carrabassett Valley Academy recently held its annual Big Raffle and Auction at the Sugarloaf Inn to raise money for the CVA Scholarship Fund. More than 200 CVA supporters participated in the live and silent auctions before the drawing for the coveted $10,000 grand prize.
At the end of the night, Pamela and Joe Priest of Lewiston, N.Y., parents of a CVA student, were the lucky winners.
With approximately 40 percent of the CVA student body receiving financial aid from the scholarship fund, this is a very important fundraiser for the school.
Saunders benefit
HEBRON — A benefit supper for Debbie Saunders will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at Hebron Academy Dining Hall. Menu includes homemade spaghetti, lasagna, salads and pies. Donations at the door. Raffles.
Tupperware Bingo
LIVERMORE FALLS — George Bunten Post 10 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary will hold a Tupperware fundraiser from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at 17 Reynolds Ave. Light refreshments and soup will be provided.
