FARMINGTON — A Strong man is scheduled to go on trial at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, in the case of an armed robbery at the Big Apple in December 2010.

Miguel Visuano III, 26, was indicted in May 2011 on a felony charge of robbery.

He is accused of going into the Big Apple and robbing the store while wielding a small bat that had a chain attached to the end of it, according to a Farmington police affidavit.

Tips from the community helped lead Farmington police Detective Marc Bowering to Visuano, according to court documents.

The trial is expected to take two days, Justice Michaela Murphy told potential jurors Tuesday. Fourteen potential witnesses could testify during the trial.
