Help dogs

NORWAY — When the Oxford Hills area animal shelter closed more than a year ago, the problem of stray dogs remained. Responsible Pet Care in Norway started taking in strays. Many people do not know this, as RPC is primarily a cat shelter. They do an outstanding service with not much money and rely on their dedicated volunteers.

Taking on the care of dogs has meant more work, and RPC needs our help. A group has formed and will meet at the Norway Town Hall at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, to learn more about what RPC needs. If any dog lovers want to help out in any way, join the group. For more information call Helen at 743-1193, or Jackie at 743-7152.
