LIVERMORE FALLS — Treat Memorial Library has announced the end of Wednesday morning’s preschool story time, due to not enough preschoolers attending. Feb. 29 will be the last Wednesday story time.

The library will, however, start a story/craft hour for all ages from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. every Saturday beginning March 3.

On Saturday, Feb. 18, there will be a special Snowmen Story Time at 10:30 a.m. for all ages. On Saturday, Feb. 25, there will be Parachute Play at 10:30 a.m.

The knit/crochet group will meet again on the fourth Tuesday of each month. The next one is Feb. 28 at 5:30 p.m. This is for all ages and any skill level. Lessons in knitting and crocheting are available.

Patrons have been enjoying the e-books that are available through our catalog and the Maine Infonet Download Library. For those who enjoy the older classics, try some of the Gutenberg records in our catalog. The Gutenberg Project converts books that are no longer copyright protected into digital form and makes them available to everyone.

In inclement weather, the library posts storm closings on TV stations 6, 8 and 13 and on Facebook.
