AUBURN — Students in the Architectural and Civil Engineering program at Central Maine Community College attended the “Build Boston Expo” held recently at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston. As the largest regional event for the design and construction industry in the country, Build Boston is the Northeast’s premier architecture and building show.

ACE students who visited Boston included Kristin Gulliford, Nick Coulombe, Chris Boone, Collin Hubbard, Luke Lunt and Ryan Whitney.

The ACE program prepares students to translate concepts of professional designers and engineers into functioning systems and structures using the language of codes, working drawings, specifications and construction techniques. Graduates typically accept positions with architectural firms, engineering offices, contractors, land surveyors, and municipal or state engineering offices.
